Conservative Activist Orlando Owens running for State Treasurer

Orlando Owens, a staffer for U.S. Senator Ron Johnson and long-time conservative activist, has been traveling the state of Wisconsin talking to voters about his possible run for State Treasurer, a seat that is up for contention in 2022. He has been at dozen of events, county fairs. His personal Facebook page shows him traveling to every corner of the state speaking to voters.

Sources close to Orlando Owens has confirmed to us that his exploratory phase will conclude next week. Owens will be making an official announcement this month, likely next week.

Our sources are GOP insiders close to Owens political circle. Owens has expressed publicly that his decision will be based on what’s best for his family, growing the conservative movement, and winning in 2022.

Owens is well known in the Milwaukee Metro area for his work on the Joseph Project, a faith-based initiative that connects people with jobs. The project was co-founded by the late Pastor Jerome Smith Sr. and U.S. Ron Johnson.
