Van Mobley, the Village President of Thiensville and conservative professor at Concordia University, is strongly considering getting into Governor’s race. Mobley sees the current declared field as weak, and unprepared to take on the major issues in Wisconsin.
In an email to several top conservative activists in Wisconsin, Mobley makes his case as to why he would make the best candidate.
Mobley cites his loyalty and work for President Trump, his conservative leadership in Thiensville, and his recent victory defeating the left who went after him for not instituting any COVID restrictions in the Village of Thiensville. During the COVID crisis, Mobley never enacted any mandates or emergency restrictions on Thiensville citizens freedoms. This caused a huge stir in the suburban village, and Mobley had a challenger with significant Democrat support. He survived that challenge and won handily.
Mobley was a very early supporter of President Trump during the 2015 Republican Primary and the general election and stuck with him while the Paul Ryan gang was throwing Trump under the bus after the Access Hollywood video came out.
